Hayward City Council Airport Committee, regular quarterly meeting. It was announced that the final revision of the airport layout plan is available at the airport office. San Lorenzo Village Homes Association, regular monthly meeting. Hayward Director of Public Works Bob Bauman described the City's newest "airport layout plan" to accommodate faster and larger jet aircraft. This plan would require extension of the runway safety zone, pushing the planned West A Street extension up against the property lines of San Lorenzo Village homes. See meeting minutes.

Hayward Area Recreation and Parks District Board of Directors, regular board meeting. Hayward Director of Public Works Bob Bauman described the revision of the "airport layout plan" to accommodate faster and larger jet aircraft. This plan would require extension of the runway safety zone into the existing Skywest Golf Course, thus eliminating a portion of the golf course. As a result, the planned West A Street extension would also have to cut through the golf course. See meeting minutes.
