Plane Lands at Airport without Landing Gear

A plane's landing gear collapsed while it was landing at the Hayward Airport yesterday at about 12:40 p.m.. The aircraft suffered only minor damage and none of the four persons on board were injured.

The aircraft, a Mooney M20K, is a single-engine turbocharged propeller-driven aircraft based at Hayward Airport. It is registered (N628PA) to a real estate agency, PMDAD Corporation, with offices on Industrial Blvd. in Hayward.
